The Vestry at St. Luke’s is composed of 11 men and women who serve, collectively, as the legal agent for the parish and charged with the responsibility for the finances, stewardship and maintenance of the buildings and grounds. In addition, the Vestry provides spiritual leadership in partnership with the rector, discerning vision and acting as a conduit of healthy communication between the rector and the parish.
New Vestry members are elected to a three year-term at the church’s annual meeting in late January. The group, which is led by Warden Eleanor Diemar and Junior Warden Stan Hays, meets monthly; individual members serve as liaisons to other parish committees, as well.
