Mission Partnership Committee
The purpose of Mission Partnerships is to help fulfill the third promise of the St. Luke’s mission statement:
“To serve God’s people, near and far, through loving action and generosity.”
The committee’s goal is to provide hands-on mission trip opportunities for the parish regionally, nationally and throughout the world. In its first year of existence, the committee has already organized a successful “Philly Blitz” intergenerational weekend work group of nearly 30 that traveled to Philadelphia to do basic home improvements in an underserved part of the city.
In the planning stages is a week-long mission trip to support one of several charitable efforts in South and Central America, as well as a local “day of service” in which the entire parish can participate. Volunteers with a heart for hands-on service are invited to join the committee.

Missionary Fund
St. Luke’s Church is committed to Christ’s command to spread the gospel. Mindful of this command a Missionary Fund has been established to support missionary students and missionaries working at home and abroad.
