PARISH MINISTRIES

Parish Life Guild:
The PLG consists of a group of parishioners, nine women and nine men, each serving a three-year term, dedicated to St. Luke’s numerous fellowship events and missions fund distribution. The Guild meets on the first Monday of each month to carry out the PLG mission: to actively involve the people of St. Luke’s as a community of faith, to develop and implement programs for ministry, and to support our parish as it reaches out to others in the Lord’s name.
The PLG’s Missions sub-committee organizes the church’s financial support for charitable organizations. These funds are generated by two key events: the annual Holiday Fair in November and the Spring Dinner-Auction in May, each of which raises $20,000 to $30,000. Our 2011 Missions include...
