Crossroads: Newcomer Orientation Gatherings in 4 Self-Contained Modules

We are blessed to have many new folks at St. Luke’s and several have been interested in a newcomer “class”.   But our lives are busy as is our parish!  Thus the Newcomer Class, Crossroads,  has been revised to be presented in 4 modules: 4 stand-alone gatherings.  These four Crossroads Gatherings will be repeated and on-going, sometimes they will be offered on a Sunday morning and sometimes they will be offered on an evening.

All newcomers, visitors and interested parish members are invited to come when you can.  You do not have to attend one before you can attend another. Take them in any order you choose. Each module will have time for meeting and greeting and a presentation by our rector Kent or by a member of our clergy.  There will be opportunities to meet other newcomers as well as members of the St. Luke’s Parish family.  Come learn, fellowship and share the journey!

ST. LUKE’S PLG cordially invites you to join us for a fun evening of fellowship and fine food at our 26th annual Lobsterfest dinner being held in Greene Hall on Saturday, March 10th. Cocktail hour starts at 6 PM and dinner commences at 7 PM. Tickets, which cover a whole lobster or half chicken, steamed clams, homemade chowder, beverages (beer, wine and n/a), and more will go on sale beginning Sunday, February 18th. Tickets are $35.00 per adult and can be purchased at the church office during the week or on Sunday after each service.

We are offering a children’s menu (mac-n-cheese, chicken fingers, french fries, juice) this year to welcome families with children to enjoy this event. Children menu tickets are $8.00

When buying tickets, please specify your choice of lobster or chicken. We must accept payment at the time of purchase. We are also looking for volunteers! No experience necessary. From cooking lobster and clams to helping set-up, it is a fun evening and we would appreciate any help.
