A Special Service of Healing For Grief and Loss — With Prayers Available to Anyone for Healing of Body, Mind and Spirit
Sunday at 5pm, St. Luke’s evening service will focus on healing. While it is always good to seek God for healing, this particular service was prompted by the string of suicides in our area since the first of the year. It is meant to bring comfort to all, but especially those who knew one of these individuals.
There will be special readings and a homily focused on healing and grief. There will be a time for corporate healing prayer and also a prayer station where individuals can go to receive prayer with the laying on of hands. There will be Eucharist. The music will be a quieter contemporary and folk style. This service will take place in the church, not the Allen Room as usual on Sunday evenings. All are welcome.
